I'm excited for this coming week. My sister and one of her friends are coming to visit from OH and should arrive on Wednesday night. They'll most likely be here through Sunday morning, and we all plan to hit up the Cherry Blossom Festival (minus Buppy due to work/other plans). It's been announced that peak bloom should occur between March 29 - April 3, so we're on a perfect schedule. This is going to be an awesome week! Plus, she was just promoted, so we obviously have to celebrate, too!
We were late in the blossom timeframe in 2009, so there weren't a lot of fully blooming trees. Most had already lost a lot of their blossoms.
Can't go to DC without seeing the Washington Monument. Period.
